Music Director

  Andris Poga has been the music director of the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra (LNSO) since the season of 2013–2014. Highlights of recent seasons have included concerts with the leading orchestras of Germany, France, Italy, Japan and other countries. After the first successful collaborations he has been invited back to the NHK Symphony Orchestra Tokyo, Wiener Symphoniker, NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchester Hamburg, WDR Symphony Cologne, Munich Philharmonic, Deutsches Symphony-Orchester Berlin, Dresden Philharmonic, Gewandhausorchester Leipzig. He has also conducted the Frankfurt Radio Symphony, SWR Symphony Orchestra in Stuttgart, Danish National Symphony Orchestra, Saint Petersburg Philharmonic, Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome, Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich, Orchestre National de France, Shanghai Symphony and Sydney Symphony among many others.
