Happy Birthday, Mr. Bernstein!

Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto no. 4 is just as good beautiful as its popular forerunners no. 2 and no. 3, but is seldom performed – this rarity is included in the LNSO Summer Festival programme, solo by the brilliant Andrejs Osokins. The concert also celebrates Bernstein’s centenary – we will enjoy song and dance from his musical scores, in fact, on the exact date of his birthday. Our guest of honour is Kim Criswell – the vital, witty, vibrant American singer and actress with ample experience on the musical stage.

Event is supported by the U.S. Embassy in Latvia.
