LNSO is nominated for The Grand Music Award 2017 in various nominations

We are happy to announce that Latvian National Symphony Orchestra is nominated for The Grand Music Award 2017 in various nominations!

Our concert “A Couple of Fourths. Tuur. Schumann“, the opening concert of Baltic Symphony Festival led by Estonian conductor Kristiina Poska, with amazing solo by Guntars Freibergs is on of three nominees in category “Concert of the Year”.

Ieva Upatniece, LNSO cello group’s concertmaster, has been nominated for the award of an excellent work in an ensemble, and last but not least – our musical play  “Zenith” is nominated for the award in category “Staging of the Year”.

The results will be announced on March 6.
